If it's oil rather than diesel leaking, the gasket is available seperately. (Item #2 in this diagram). The fuel lift pump is inside the fuel tank, not on the engine.
This will reveal the fuel pump, return and supply pipes, and all the wiring. The sender has it's own wiring connector on the 1.9D models according to my workshop manual. Check all connections, but unless it can be repaired that's an expensive sender unit! Last edited: Oct 4, 2007.
